You Still Love me by Ravinder Singh is an average read

I picked this book for this weekend and could able to finish witin a day. The story is romance between the Punjabi guy Ranveer and North Eastern girl Lavanya. The story starts during the flight journey and blossoms the love gradually. Rajveer’s family initially opposes the relationship and then agrees for son’s happiness. Then, there was an accident which follows some kind of suspense element.

I want to give thumbs up for the social message that it conveys- Road accident. The book explains the prevention and consequences of Road accident throughout the book. Author explains beautifully the significances of small prevention steps like following the traffic rules etc.

The story narrates from third person’s perspective and hence some of the racial comments about North Eastern people found me offensive.Pace of the story is so slow. It drags for almost 200 pages and start picking up only when the accident happens. Usually in this kind of story humour could be the saviour. But, there was only road trips and Trecking almost 80% of the book.

Overall, it is an average Affair

My Rating 2.5/5
